Therapeutic Massage
Touch is the core ingredient of massage therapy and combines science with art. A fine-tuned sense of touch is required from the masseur to locate areas of tension and other soft-tissue problems and to determine the right amount of pressure to apply to each person. Touch also conveys a sense of caring and nurturing ... an important component in healing.
The massage is done on a large, comfortable massage table with a face cradle, knee and ankle bolsters to give added support to your back. My work table is wider than most and has a 4 inch thick padding for extra comfort.
The massage oil I use is grapeseed oil which is unfragranced. Alternatives to oil are talc, cream, Cocoa Butter with Vitamin E or Honey and Grapeseed Oil.

It provides the perfect way to relax, reduce muscle tension, improve circulation and calm the mind. This is the relaxing, stress-reducing type of massage most people think about when they want a massage.
